Back in 2013, Dr. Paulk had patients approach him about offering concierge services. There were multiple reasons – advancing health issues, aging parents, work travel issues, assisted living facility coordination and basically the need for more access to him when they needed it.
Dr. Paulk agreed to have a mixed practice with his traditional patients and a limited number of concierge patients. This offering has stood the test of time for more than 10 years now.
Concierge at Sanus Medical may work differently than other concierge practices in the area but the annual fees are always lower, and our services provide actual results for our patients.
Concierge Medicine
Concierge includes the following benefits:

We provide a concierge coordinator to answer the dedicated cell phone during business hours, so patients don’t have to call through the normal office phones and possibly wait in a queue to be answered. The concierge coordinator works with the medical staff and Dr. Paulk directly to get your questions answered. The concierge phone is then transferred directly to Dr. Paulk’s cell phone after hours and on the weekends.

We provide a concierge email address for non-emergent questions or for you to provide data as needed.

We provide same day appointments with Dr Paulk for sick visits or for him to see a bug bite or a rash, or swollen legs or whatever the case may be that day.

We work with other specialists to obtain the medical records Dr. Paulk needs for your care. He contacts your specialists to discuss any reports or diagnoses you’ve shared. If urgent, he may arrange specialist appointments for you.
Dr. Paulk might also visit you in the hospital, even if you or your family did not ask him to. With your consent, we can access your electronic records from local hospitals to provide Dr. Paulk with the necessary information.

Dr. Paulk creates a detailed physical report for you each year once your physical is completed. It contains your lab results and flow sheets with historic values, as well as comments that are written in language that you can understand and are meaningful.
